Alan Abrams – Long Island Wedding Photographer
Although I was born and raised in NYC, I have spent much of my life traveling the globe. My journey as a photographer has taken me from Harlem, NYC, around the world with the U.S. Navy, and back here to Long Island, New York.
The one common thread in all my travels has been…..people.
I love people. I love meeting people and I love interacting with people. More importantly, I love taking pictures of people. The urge to capture people in their natural setting has been with me for as long as I can remember.
One of the many joys of being a photographer is having the opportunity to spend time with people during the happiest times of their lives. Whether it’s the very beginning of their child’s life, to when they graduate from high school, all the way to celebrating their wedding and welcoming their own children into the world, those precious moments are meant to be captured and preserved forever.
I truly love photography. It is very much a passion of mine and is something that is a part of me as much as I am a part of it. I look forward using that same passion to capture those precious moments for you and your loved ones to enjoy forever. It’s my way of giving something to people that they can not give themselves and a way of preserving today’s moments for years to come.
My wife Silke and I live on Long Island with our son Ben, our daughter Rebecca, 2 spoiled cats, and a big happy dog named Grant.
