When Jaelene and Alan first contacted me about shooting them during their trip to New York City, I was pretty excited. Not only at the prospect of doing a shoot in the city, but because they’re photographers. Knowing how picky photographers can be about photography, I was flattered that they wanted me to capture their first trip to the Big Apple. I also knew it was going to be fun. I’ve known of Jaelene for some time now. We met online a couple of years ago, so it was great to finally meet in person….and seriously, how could you not have fun hanging out with a guy named Alan?
Like most photographers they didn’t have many photos of themselves. Most of us spend way more time behind the camera than we do in front of it and frankly, I’m a lot better behind the camera than I am in front of it. As you can see here, these guys didn’t have a problem with a little role reversal. In fact, they were great! You can check out their work at Jaelene Bryan Photography.
I also have to give a shout out to my girl Tricia of Tricia LaPont Photography for hanging out and letting me bounce ideas off her, not to mention pretending to laugh at my corny jokes.
