This isn’t the first time Maggie and Christopher have graced these pages. We shot their engagement session last year and Maggie’s bridal shower, which took place just a couple of months ago. Maggie planned a really offbeat wedding….and I do mean offbeat! The more she and Christopher told us about what they had planned for the day, the more excited we got. I can’t think of too many weddings that feature continuous hayrides, peach picking, a tree swing, croquet games, and the bride driving herself to the ceremony in a bright yellow Corvette convertible. That’s Maggie for you…..never a dull moment!
With so much going on, I called on my buddy Pete Gebhardt to help me out with the shooting. Without him and Silke shooting with me, there’s no way I could’ve covered the 300+ acres of the Salt Air Farm. It seems as if this wedding used every inch of the place. The thought of an outdoor wedding at high noon in mid-August had me worried, but it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day…..a beautiful day for a wedding!
This is our biggest blog post ever. There was so much going on that it took this many images to tell the story of their day. Even so, there are many great images that didn’t make it to the blog. If you’re looking for images from the Photobooth, stay tuned because they’ll be posted later in the week. Good times for sure…

Joyriding to the wedding! No, she didn’t burn rubber.

It wouldn’t be a wedding if Maggie didn’t cry…

…and laugh!
